Supporting the global community
The Kenneth Hill Foundation supports various charities to improve healthcare, education, and the quality of life for underserved populations within our local community and beyond.
Who we are
Established in 2021, in honor of the late Kenneth Hill, our foundation donates to organizations that work to improve the lives of children, teens, and the elderly in our global community who are in need. The foundation is overseen and operated by Jeff Farris and the Hill Family Group.
Broad Reach
We also support organizations that reach far beyond our local community to offer healthcare to those in need, regardless of where they live.
About Kenneth Hill
Ken Hill was born August 20, 1941 in Cisco, Texas, to a third-generation ranching family. Ken lived an abundant life in every way and adopted a few guiding principles—to live a life of servitude and pay good forward. He devoted his life to the passionate pursuit of a better life for people, for person-care, and a better world. Ken’s Christian heart remained steadfast all his life and afforded him opportunities to share generously.
Ken served on the Granbury city council for a couple of years prior to becoming mayor for two years—while also consulting for the local hospital and local nursing homes. He had a child-like spirit and a fervor for life. Ken brought play to everything he helped establish including the annual Hood County Hometown 4th of July Celebration.
Ken Hill was truly one of a kind. His greatest gift to those that loved and cherished him was his time and presence. Generosity was part of his DNA, and although he had many passions, people were most cherished by him. The world lost Ken on Novembember 23, 2020, but his legacy lives on through his family, his companies, and this foundation, which continues his passion for helping others.
